Has anyone else experienced problems with them shipping product. Bought and paid for trike jack over 3 weeks ago , called and received several promises of shipping soon. I have not received any shipping confirmation even though the promised one would be emailed. I contacted them via email provided on web site and said no tracking by tomorrow I am disputing charge on credit , no reply as of yet.

Sorry to hear this. I just ordered mine this Saturday. I hope this just a glitch!

No contact from J&S Jacks , filed PayPal and credit card disputes. So if you're thinking of ordering from them based on my experience so far I would not recommend them.

Tracking number has been provided. It has been 28 days from initial order. In this day of easy instant communication I find this unacceptable. If there is a delay communicate the reason. Don't promise shipment if You can't ship just to get me off the phone. Their jacks do get great reviews but I still advise others to be aware of their business tactics.

Amen! Honesty & Communications will go a long way. I have a similar story of lying on the phone all for the sake of a sale. Don't want to hijack your thread.

I've watched their demo on YouTube and they look like the macdaddy of stands.

Hope it works out for you.

I didn't have any trouble with their communication but did with the product. I bought into their demo and got a jack with the correct adapters for my bike. But apparently my Indian Roadmaster is too tail heavy. When I tried putting it up on the jack the jack would twist so badly that I was afraid it would fall off. After a lengthy phone call with me sending several pictures, they sent me new adapters. It really didn't help. There was absolutely no way anyone could get on the bike while up in the air.

Then to make matters worse, after I started lashing the bike on first to raise it up, I got it up and then let it back down like they instruct and guess what happened? When I was done putting air in the rear tire(that's all I wanted that time), I tried to raise it up to release the stop and it would not go up. No matter how fast or slow I pumped it just sat there. So now I have $30k sitting up in the air and no way to get it down.

So do you think for one darn minute they would pay to fix the bike once it dropped with me trying to only way I could see to get it up enough to get the stops to release?

I was sweating profusely but did manage to get it back down. I've not touched that thing since. But I did get instructions on how to add and bleed the air out of hydraulic reservoir. Absolutely worthless information while the bike was 28 inches in the air or whatever amount it is.

So I now use a lift. At least if it gets stuck in the air I can get another jack under it and lower it safely. That jack or any jack like it is a hazard just waiting to hurt someone or ruin a good bike or trike.:AGGHH: I'm sure my experience was a one of a kind but there is no way I'll ever use any of them like that. What I got cost 3x what the jack cost but I have something now I can totally control. Even if it dropped completely it wouldn't harm anything.:clapping:

I always like the new toys to work with but never could see how I would trust some of these jacks I see. I just use car stands under the axle and a scissor jack under the front. Gets the job done plenty high, rock solid. IMO all I need and cheap.;)

jack

I would not be blaming the company that sells the jacks. You said you got tracking number. That means the jack was sent because you don't get a tracking number until you send things. sounds like the shipping company was to blame not the jack company
Just a thought
Ps. If it was me I would find out if it was the shipping company that took so long because it would not be fair to the jack company to bad mouth them IF they did no wrong

Took 3 weeks to get a tracking number 3 days to get the jack. Doesn't sound like the shipping co. to me.
