J&S Hot Rod Asylum frames?

I just picked up a VW based rolling project trike. It is truly a project at this point.

The MC frame looks home built and I think the welding was done by Stevie Wonder.
I was looking at the J&S Hot Rod Asylum frames to replace it. Does anyone have any knowledge of these?
It looks like he sells some welded up ones on ebay also.
Main reason on these for me is price.

Any info will be appreciated.
