My trike is home as of an hour or so ago. I have worn a path out to look at it. If it would only warm up and quit raining (90% chance tomorrow) on my days off. It's nice sunny and warm on my work days which are 12 hours long. Errrrrrr but tonight I'm happy dancing! Now I can start enjoying it!

Congrats :clapping: You waited this long, so a day longer will be ok. Enjoy and ride safe. Keep us posted..:wave4:

The wind will be in your hair before too long, when it does, you'll remember it forever!
But, I know what you mean, like a kid looking in a candy store window, waiting for the store to open! LOL
Enjoy!

I know you will enjoy that awesome trike. Go find a parking lot and do some figure 8's so that you can get the feel of controling it in the curves. Send pics of that pretty smile and beautiful trike.

Good things come to those who wait! Now, you got your trike (and a VERY nice looking trike at that) so let's concentrate on SPRING!!! Congrats!

:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

Thank you all!! My patience is definitely going to be tested more. The forecast is freezing rain and snow today....Yuk!!! Guess I'll have to settle for just staring at it and sitting on it. LOL

Weather is dry but cold here in Michigan! I'll just keep looking and polishing until it gets a little warmer. Sure wish I had a heated garage...

Me too on the heat. I put up a shed for the trike and still need to have electric put in it at least before next winter. Right now I'm going to run an outdoor extension cord to it for the battery tender and I have battery operated lanterns for light. I guess if I get desperate I could put a heater out there too while I sit there and admire but I'm hoping spring will get here and stay very soon. This gives me time to look it over well and practice getting on gracefully. LOL ;) Notice the play on words on the street sign...."Tramp Blvd" And of course Disney..Lady and the Tramp. I had to find a shed with a wide enough door too.

Hope you are starting to plan your road trips. TT has several rallies every year (check out http://www.triketalk.com/forum/forums/258-TrikeTalk-com-T-O-I-Rallies-amp-Rides and http://www.triketalk.com/forum/forums/34-Other-Rallies-amp-Rides) The Maggie Valley event in September is only a 9 hour ride for you - beautiful country, great roads, super friendly people, a really good time.

Also, check out some of the other boards for RTE (Ride to Eat) events which take place every weekend in almost every state. With your work schedule you need to reserve vacation time to really enjoy the good riding weather.

My first trike was a Suzuki Lehman LS800 (like a C50) and one of the first add-ons I bought was a BeadRider seat pad for more comfort on long distance rides.

nice trike

that is one nice looking trike. you will have years to enjoy so don't rush it.(I can say that now, I was just like you when I got mine) :Trike1:

Jump on it and head south to W.Ky it was 70 today 75 tomorrow ! I know I'm just rubbing it in, but hurry up it's gonna be cold here this weekend . ;)

Congrats on the new trike, I feel your pain as far as the weather goes, today in the lower 70's but Saturday we are looking at possible snow:(. I guess we get what we get but this is getting ridiculous.

While it sits in the shed you could put that first good coat of wax on it so it'll really shine when you come blasting out of the chute for that first ride.

Any suggestions for what to use? Any favorites? This is a good idea....I looked out at the forecast for the next month and my days off are not good and sunny...those are my work days. LOL

I also use the Honda spray polish and cleaner all over my Wing...except the seat....and I also have been using Lemon Pledge as a quicker detailer for light dust during long breaks while waiting around for other riders to mount up...my wing is black and terrible for showing even light dust...the Honda spray cleaner and Pledge share cleaning duties on the windshield. Some believe if you use Pledge on the windshield it will lead to micro spider cracking...it does on a plexiglass windshield but no harm on Lucite shields...been using it since I bought the bike new in '01 and still looks like new after 84,000 miles. A word of advise do not put Armor All on your seat....you don't need to ask me how I know this.

"FuzzyWuzHe;282794]The Honda spray clean and shine is some good stuff .... yea yea, a Harley rider using a Honda product" FuzzyWuzHe I have several Harley friends that use the Honda Spray cleaner so don't feel like you're alone....it's a super good product and the word gets around between biker friends.

Allen Serviss (still a foot of snow on my lawn in southern Vermont)

Ok a question for the suggestion of the Honda spray cleaner and polish. Is it safe for fiberglass? I'm assuming it is. I know that's a dumb blond question that's why I put blond in my red hair so I have a good excuse for my dumb questions. This is the first trike/motorcycle I've owned and been responsible for so I'm learning. Someone else always took care of them before, I just rode. Like the saying goes....I'm putting my big girl panties on and being independent (with help from friends :) )

Going to the dealer in the morning and they sell Hondas so hoping they have it in their shop so I don't have to order online.

congrats on your new baby. It pains me to see ANY bike on a trailer!
Hoping to get my trike in the next week or so. I believe the conversion was delayed when the owner of the shop went in for knee replacement surgery. Don't know exactly when if will be picked up but one thing I do know....it will be driven home....ahhhh come on Spring!!
Enjoy many miles of fun rides!!

I've used Meguiars products for years. Buy at any auto parts store, Walmart, Home Depot, etc., reasonably priced.

Quick Detailer spray is great for getting road grime and bugs off the trike after a road trip. Gold Class Car Wash is good for an overall cleaning of body panels, chrome and wheels. Follow that up with the Quick Wax spray. These are the only 3 products you really need on your workbench. (You do have a wrenching work bench don't you?)

I know these are advertised as car care products, but most car panels are the same material as our bike panels. Someone also mentioned Lemon Pledge which also seems to work well for quick clean up.

You don't need to spend a lot of money for these products at the dealer, unless you just have more cash on hand than you know what do with.
