Today I received a message in my email from the TrikeTalk Forum:
"Hey Puff, we've missed you on the forum! Please stop by and say hello to your fellow trike friends and enter our Give Away!"

Well, I've missed the forum too and thanks for the reminder. A whole bunch of stuff has been going down in my life and only excuse for the absence is I'm slack!

Thanx for the prompt, and I'll endeavor to once more savor the vagaries of my international triking community. :wave4:

Yeah, I got one of those messages today too. I check this forum everyday, but I guess I just don't have much to say about many of the recent posts and topics. Thanks for the reminder though. it is nice to know you are thought of.

Hello Nana and Bazooka. Yes, it has been a few moons since I last visited TrikeTalk. I really have no idea why I stopped dropping by. I will say that I have sorely missed all of you. No, I have not bought a new trike yet.....BUT.....I do ride my husband's Harley Ultra Trike. In fact, I even took a road trip, (without him), to Jefferson, Marshal, and Bossier City. A friend of mine rode her Road King trike and we had a blast. Of course, the hubby was worried about me. After all, I had been in an awful wreck that wiped out my Honda Goldwing Trike, (and nearly me too). But that was a few years back and I knew I could handle being on the road again. Hubby laid down some rules for me and my girlfriend to follow. 1...Don't go over the speed limit...Oops 2....Don't ride after dark...but we had to go eat!! 3....If traffic is heavy, pull over and wait it out.....He was kidding, RIGHT?? 4.....Do not get on any major highways....Now how was I going to get to Bossier City without doing that???? Needless to say after that three day excursion, I was definately ready to get my own trike,,,, BUT,,,, it takes a few $$$$$ in the bank to make that happen. So, for now, I ride his Trike and am enjoying every minute I do. Yes, I promise to stop by more often.. Y'all ride safe now...

Me too, I have nothing but sad excuses, plus my trike is down right now with some type of short i cannot find so if off to the dealer Friday.

Thanks for the reminder to check in

So good to hear from all of you again! This place has always felt like a family to Bazooka and me, so we've truly been missing the old familiar names and faces around here.

ANGEL--you go girl! It is amazing to hear you are back in the saddle again after the long haul of recuperation! That rocks!

I to got an email,& I do stop by and read, however I dont have much to say.
We only made one trip this year due to health reasons, this has caused my friends and family to think we are slowing down, however we will pick up the pace in 2012.

I got the same message. Guess there has not been enough discussion here so they needed the Silent Majority.

Rode Colorado for third week in Sept and the Aspens were Golden and the roads twisty. Great week of riding. Then back into the Heat of Texas.

I got the same message, but it hasn't been that long since I stopped by, just didn't have much to say. Try to do better. I've been working on the Kawasaki trike conversion with the Cass County Trike rear end. i've been fabing some fenders. Willpost pics in the garage soon.

me too, its hard to get excited about riding when its 29 degrees outside i rode in the veterans day parade on the sixth with my grandaughter but the weather has gone south since then, come on spring!

Me, too. Ben on the road a lot with the Shriners and the Masonic lodge, not to mention riding every semi-pretty day. That being said, Bazooka and Nana, I will try to do better.

Must say I had a bit of a smile on my face when I read this post :) Why? Well in Australia (Oz) it was 33 ° here and I also didn't feel like riding... But that of course is in Celsius, which equates to about 91.5° F

and to Nana, thanx for the welcome back :wave4:

I got the same message, maybe its Spam.

LOL!..... If it was spam, it was the nicest spam I've ever gotten! :10:

It's too complicated to pick and choose recipients when a mass mailing is made, so we all got mail, even the admins and moderators who are on here much of every day. We just appreciate you all, and want you to know it!
