Is it ever going to warm up in the north?

We have been planning a 3 to 4 week camping trip to northern Michigan and Canada. Having grown up in the U.P. of Michigan, but now living in Florida we are not looking forward to 30's at night and 40's during the day,as we are tent camping the whole time. We have only 5 weeks before our departure and we may have to take an alternate destination for our annual adventure.

I also an a former-Yooper. We live in SW Missouri, and it is amazing how thin the blood has gotten living in the heat of the sousth and very short winters.
So sassoman axed:
Is it ever going to warm up in the north?
T
he answer to your question is "Yes".
But being the UP, the real question is "When?"
My guess there may be 6 days in mid-July when you won't
have to take a coat with you in the day if plans include not getting
home until after dark. :AGGHH:

BTW - for folks that have never been to the UP, there are 4 seasons:
Winter, June, July & August.;)
