Since i have the DK oil filter relocation kit on mine i would estimate that i have gained about same increase in capacity in oil.The stronger spring in the bypass is interesting so if i add this new filter i will increase the oil capacity a little more plus added filtration area,curious how much more they are.

Great video., I was really surprised at the amount of media in the K&N. I think K&N already have a new filter out for the M8 also.

I would think the more media the more it will restrict oil flow....More isn't media necessarily better, There should be a happy medium somewhere ......

Yes and No Bob, it depends on what the media is made of Too restrictive is going to plug up a lot faster and cause the filter by pass valve to pop provided it has one and is calibrated right, either way it could be very bad Ju Ju for the engine JMO

I used K&N for decades, but have not looked back since switching to permanent absolute filters.
