This is not pro or con anything...just something I foumd interesting.

In today's mail, I received an invitation to a Spring Open House at a Harley dealer. As usual, they will have the requisite Harley Demo ride sof the latestand greatest models.

Nothing out of the ordinary there, until I read the lawyers disclaimer under the invitation.

Typical "Rider must be properly licensed and provide helmet", etc......then a final line, in larger type, so you can't miss it -

Rider must agree to minimum of three test rides”

Agree to a minimum of 3 test rides, why not, whats a couple more traffic light launchespepper:D.

Maybe there is some very small fine print that states that the minimum 3 rides is them having the right to let others test drive YOUR trike 3 times?!?!? :AGGHH: :D :wave4:

I'll bet once you're out on the first teat ride if you do a burn out they'll concede those those other two rides.

Phu Cat

If you do a burnout on a stock from factory Harley. I would be more than impressed.:qpnmt:

I can make a moped do a burnout, pinning the front brake and applying lots of throttle while standing works wonders. That is one of the things which always facinated me about bikers, why do a burnout? I can see a car, it does show power, it takes it to make the tires fry. A bike doesn't take that much expecially when you throttle up and let out the clutch.

LOL Now watching a drunkasickle do a burn out would be funny LOL:laugh:

I've accdentally burnt rubber a couple times. Not very hard.

I don't get it  - why would Harley want to put MORE abuse on a bike. Wouldn't it make the lines even longer to test a bike?
What's the purpose of 3 rides - why not 2 or 4?

I volunteer to help the dealer do the demo rides each year and the crap I see what riders do to the bikes is scarry. :AGGHH:

Why not just go for a 3 times longer ride? ThumbUp

Seabill got it right. :)
