Intercom Choices

I'm the new guy, so this has probably been discussed here before. I just can't find a thread where it's been hashed out.

My wife and I ride with half helmets. Which intercom choices would you recommend for us, please? Any suggestion appreciated.

The best intercom systems seem to work best only with full face helmets. We're looking for an affordable alternative for half shells, rather than just yelling at each other as we go down the road. I'd like a com system that we can simply plug into our Tri Glide so we don't have to worry about keeping the headset charged up.

Thanks for any input. This level of touring is all new to us.

Hope it works out for you.....Have had mine for a year and have to admit, I haven't used it as an intercom (only bought one headset) so I can't say how it works in that mode. Mine has been used mainly for radio listening, nav commands, and phone calls to this point. Will be interested in your experiences with it. Harley sells a similar headset for $150 so the price IS right ! ThumbUp

My wife ordered them last night from the link you provided. We used our Amazon Prime account. They should arrive tomorrow, 3/31. I'll post a full review from unboxing, installation, quality, and ease of use, especially for two-up riding communication.

And you're right about the price. Much more reasonable, but I am interested to judge their quality versus the H-D brand.

Check out Law Abiding Biker LAB, they carry ICM 7 pin headsets for half or 3/4 helmets . Totally compatible with HD. I have two sets and am totally satisfied . LAB, has great reviews . LAB is operated by law enforcement officers and dedicated rider's. LAB publishes great do it yourself videos and podcasts as well.
