Intalling a Superbrace on a 1599SE

Well, I got my new Superbrace from the "Big Brown Truck" today. Really a cool prize to win! I liked everything about it, right outa the box. Nice packaging, and a nice looking slab of aluminum, with crisp machining throughout. Mine is a plain finish model, but black and polished are offered. It went on perfectly, and the only thing I did differently was to use a Dremel tool to remove a couple of tabs on the fork protector. The instructions say to use a pair of pliers an snap them off. In MY world, I would have broken a huge chunk:eek: or something, so I opted to do it clean with a Dremel. This was also a piece of cake.

I have lots of pics being processed by ol' Zook, so they'll be up in a bit. Thanks to SuperBrace for the contest, and I really do appreciate it. Not a lot of (any) toy money lately, so it was special to me. If I can ever answer a question, or be of assistance, drop me a PM or post it. I'm in here daily. Thanks guys and gals, Jim Bullard (jimsjinx)

Ok, we went on a 150 mile ride to the "Syrup soppin' Festival" in Lopachoka (SP?) this AM. The Superbrace got a decent workout on the Motortrike, and I must say I noticed a great improvement in handling and feel immediately! The right mirror wasn't shaking like it usually does, the trike is WAY more responsive to driver input, and the handlebars had near zero vibration. (Something that has bugged me from day one). When you start a sharp turn at speed, the trike goes where you point it. No lag. The freeway was typical Alabama, and was smoothed out considerably. I would recommend this add on to anyone wanting a better riding trike, and the cost, even though mine was a gift, is more than worth the money. I couldn't be more impressed. I wonder why Honda didn't do this upgrade themselves for the returns you get. Thanks again to the forum for holding the contest. Your #1 Superbrace fan, Jimsjinx

nice pics--I have one still in the packet I just bought on sale.

Your pics will be a great help.

I will probably install it in the spring. I winterized the bike last weekend and put her away and wouldn't ya know it its warming up again this week.

HMM if Michigan wanted snow I could fire it up. I'm sure it would produce a blizzard.
