On 4/13/18 I bought a new Polaris Slingshot to go along with the H/D trike. I called the ins. co. i had the trike with ( Dairyland ) and i about fell over when given to quote. I then called State farm and they were at least doable. I just yesterday came across this agent on a slingshot forum who was highly recommended so I called him and requested a quote for the s/shot. Wow what a difference. I then had him quote the trike again wow what a difference. The s/shot and the trike yearly rates where cut all but in half saving me close to 700. a year. Here is has contact info. if interested. buymotorcycleinsurance.com/ 1-832-364-6630 Dan Harrera Worth a call if thinking about looking at different ins.100_0898.jpg100_0895.JPG

That's good news. Thanks for posting. I'll definitely check with him when my insurance renews in a few months. BTW which insurance company did you go with for these great rates?

He wrote them thru Progressive. Not sure how he got me such good rates. Quoted the same coverages that i had. I had got a quote from progressive back when my trike was due for renewal but they wanted more then i was already paying

That does seem strange but you can't argue with success. Glad it worked out for you.

You may find that you have no insurance. I had Allstate years ago when my (now ex) wife backed into another car. I got a letter explaining that they had decided not to accept my renewal along with a check for the premium I'd paid months before, saying that they weren't liable for the other guy's claim. Had they been able to make that stick I'd have lost my license and plates for driving uninsured. That was long ago but buyer beware.

Had Progressive (note) had watch Progressive very carefully and make sure you have the coverage you paid for. really Progressive is only as good as your local agent, however keep a thumb on them good luck with your choice. ride safe Fred

The first year is always cheep , tune in for year 2 , don’t take anything for granted that it’s gona stay the same $ . Insur co’s know that 50% of there customers won’t realise the second year increase.
