Cheri, that is absolutely terrible. It doesn't surprise me though. I see all kinds of people doing all kinds of things while they're supposed to be driving. Sitting up in the truck going down down the road, I've seen that very thing in cars passing me. I had a man in a Mercedes pass me on I-75 doing about 80 mph, holding a cup of coffee and using his laptop that was sitting on the passengers seat. The bad thing as in this case, is after the accident, they say "I don't know what happened"...or "I didn't see him"...

I think that woman should be charged with manslaughter. She was painting her nails and she killed someone.

John, it's a radio talk show's "commentary" on a fatal accident north of Chicago a couple of weeks ago. Lady biker was stopped because light changed from green to yellow, and a woman in a car coming up behind her didn't see the bike because she was painting her nails - and admitted it to the police!!! She hit the bike and threw the rider 400 feet!! Sadly, the rider died from internal injuries. I listened to the whole radio show....she started out well enough, but by the end she was blaming the biker!!!
