If U did not own/have the trike U have now which one would U like to have???

Myself I am very happy with my 2000se Goldwing w/CSC conversion..

I wish I would have ridden some more different conversions, just to see the difference. Only rode 2 or 3 others but I don't see how I would have been any more happier...

Since I have never ridden a Harley I cannot compare with them....

Re: If ua

I have a 96 1500 with a 06 lehman kit,if I ever got another trike which I wont,it would be a 1800 with a hannagan kit, rode a friends 1800 with a hannagan trike kit,big diffrence in ride lots softer ride and handles as good as my trike.
:yes::yes::yes:

Re: If ua

I have a '04 GL1800 with a '07 Hannigan kit on it. To be quite honest I can't imagine ever having anything else. There is nothing not to like about this Trike.

Re: If ua

Not sure I'd stray from my Roadstar 1700 EFI/Motortrike but if I did it would be on some totally Freaked out DTF or Frankenstein Kit hooked up to Some Radical Frame with an S&S 124" Block! Then of course, I'd be donating my SSI checks to the Local Tire Dealer!

Re: If ua

Am happy with the goldwing/motortrike,but would lke something with some exhaust sound.Guess it is leftover from all those Harley years.

Re: If ua

If we ever got another trike, it most likely wouldn't be until an automatic trans motorcycle conversion came along so Gloria would pilot it. Then probably be a 'Wing with a Roadsmith conversion.

Now if we could get a companion to Her Purpleness, a VW based trike just like the one we had (pics in the garage) would be a great stablemate.

In a few years,

I would like to see a Water Cooled Screaming Eagle Tri-Glide:D

I will always ride HD. Nothing wrong with everything else, just not for me.

I might consider a Frank'd V-Rod next time. I'm not fond of the looks of the gas tank on a 2 wheeler but triked they look pretty cool. Plus lots of HP and water-cooled - and they are still a Harley.

I would like to try the 1800 wing with a Roadsmith .other wise I am thrilled with the DFT. Rode many others and still like mine.

I did ride several brands in my quest for the right one for me and wife.
No doubt in my mind, I would choose the 1800 GoldWing w/a Hannigan conversion again and the same installation service!

Other than what I have (which I love!), I would seriously consider a V-rod trike. Don't like it as a 2-wheeler, but dang!----it makes one sexy trike!

Motortrike makes the kit I saw that really caught my eye. I understand not all the manufacturers have a kit for the V-rod as yet. Frankenstein also makes one for it, but I'm not sure what others do right now.

Gotta go with the V-rod/Motortrike,that is just an AWESOME looking ride.

the Queen is starting to hint that she wants to learn how to pilot the trike,so who knows, maybe we could get 2 V-rods?!?!:yes:

I'm with you Nana. I would do a V-Rod done up as a Road Glide trike with the same paint in a heart beat as my current RG.

Possums,
I am getting my 09 Ultra triked with a full Champion kit. Does anyone know if it comes with a park brake? Also comments from Harley owners please on their experience. Wings, I know what you think. Happy Thanksgiving to any who are still awake. You must be going to the sales!!! Orange, New Zealand.

Hello kiorana! Welcome to TrikeTalk. I have a Harley Fat Boy ('00) that I triked with a solid axle Champion kit in '06 --- and I love it! No regrets at all! I've taken trips of several thousand miles on it through highways and narrow twisty roads, and of course have ridden local roads. Handling and reliability have been wonderful and I have never required more than routine bike maintenance --- no issues with the trike kit at all.

Mine did not come with a parking brake. I have not checked recently to see if the new kits do, but I suspect if you go to the Champion web site that information would be there somewhere.

WELCOME to TRIKE TALK...You can always tie something around Your Front brake lever, for a cheap "fix".....ThumbUp

Hi I like Nana have a straight axle Champion on a Road Glide "07". Love it. I do not think they have a parking prake but I maybe wrong.

First post here, so HELLO!!!!

I have intentions of converting my sporty to a trike in the next couple of years, due to my health, and to get more room for Mom and I. So I am SO excited to find this forum! Will be reading with great interest! I cant afford one of the tri-glides, but would love one! I have not ridden ANY trike yet, but will have to soon. I had open heart surgery, and they messed up my neck (3 vertabra fusion) and my right ulnar nerve (crazy bone) so I am very limited and the sporty is doing fine for now. Thanks for leaving the door open so a buttugly ol biker could see the light and join the party!

Door's always open, professir! Lights may not be on, but you're always welcome to come into our Forum and poke around to see what's new, who has questions, who has answers! Used to have a Sportster 1200 and if we'd known how much fun our GW1800 CSC was going to be, we'd have kitted it out for me! (Hindsight sure is 20/20.) Glad to have you here - post some pictures of your conversion as it progresses - we like pix!

Again, welcome!

The sporty seating is a bit......limited. I am hoping with a trike conversion to add a bit of room. They at least LOOK roomier. I think Mom could get on the bike easier being a trike as well.

Or, will I have to go to a VW trike with bucket seats! :D
