So we got up early and went and test rode the Valkyrie before going to the
credit union to pay off the roadstar.

The credit union isnt really thrilled with 15 year old vehicles and not overly
sure about non factory trikes.

Upshot is, they werent willing to give me a decent interest rate on a loan for it.
(they would finance it, but I have credit cards with LOWER rates)

BUT, they would finance a new 20k harley motorcycle at a heck of an interest rate.:xzqxz:

I just cant win :gah:

Ah well, the search goes on for a less than 10 year old trike.........

werewolf,

Don't just change the trike your looking for .... change the bank your talking to. I went to 'my' bank, whom I've been a customer with for over 50 years and they told me the same thing. No, not on a "What did you call it ... a trike?" and especially one as old as mine. It was 15 years old when I talked to them about it. Found another bank who was VERY willing to loan money on a trike. They even told me what the trike was worth (which was awful close to the figure I had in mind) and we went from there. Glad I took the time to search out this bank. By the way, up until the trike purchase I had never heard of them nor had they heard of me. Total strangers then but no more!
