Almost as many choices in sparkplugs, as in oil.

I've tried a few aftermarket brands, but always come back to HD branded plugs.

I changed the plugs on my Tri-Glide at 40 thousand miles ' only because i was bored one rainy day' and that was a waste of time The stock plugs were like new! The gap was ln specs and color was right! Being l had them out already i put a set of Ngk's in. Any major Brand will work!

I know this is apples to oranges but in my snowmobile 1000cc Yamaha 4 stroke I tried several brands and NGK out performed all of them. When I change the ones in my 15 tri they will be NGK

If its running fine and the MPG has not changed leave it alone until needed.

Done deal

well I changed them replaced with OEM Gold not that expensive. What I found did not surprise me at all both plugs were good on gap, rear cylinder seemed to show (reddish brown) burning hotter no surprise there either front plug a little darker carbon seemed normal to me. darn I should have taken pictures to late now. My question is... light reddish brown color normal?

trying to describe colors in print is very subjective 'That said it depends on how you were operating the Trike just before you pulled the plugs! i.e.- were you just putting around in traffic ' Or just coming off a hi way

In my humble opinion if thier not Blistered Or black, Don't worry about it .

Just glad they came out!

I have handled a bunch of spark plugs in my life the different colors must be the configuration:Shrug: rear cylinder by nature runs hotter. Both plugs cleaned up with a small parts brush in seconds just nice to know ya kno'. Thank everyone for the replies :dance:Fred
