Ty welcome to the forum from Western Pennsylvania stop by often great people around here these people surely helped me get started. One thing I learned for the longevity of the motor is the cooler it runs should translate into longer it runs. Heat management is the most important thing you can do One of our sponsors is I feel the best qualified to address this subject Kevin is his name. I believe he will chime in. Nice to see you have joined travel safe Fred. :good:

I have a 2014 TG with 14K miles on it. No issues so far, is there anyone thing above all others that I should be aware of? :D

Welcome from Missouri!

If its new to you, I would change all the lubricants & the oil filter. Also, the brake fluid needs flushing.

I would also double check that there are no open recalls.

You can look at the 15,000 mile service checklist & do it.

Welcome to the forum, the only thing I can say is keep a eye on trannie fluid, known cases of it transferring to the primary, my cousin's did this on his 2014, not sure how many miles he had, I know he traveled quite a bit, he was out west when this developed and he had to check it everyday and when he got home he traded it for a 2017.

Welcome to the Forum!

I have a '14 also. :)

The most important thing is to keep the heat under control. 99% run far too hot, from the factory, for their own good.

Here's a LINK to a good report on the subject.

Good to hear you're enjoying the wind on 3 wheels!

2014 Tri-Glide

I have a 2014 TG with 14K miles on it. No issues so far, is there anyone thing above all others that I should be aware of? :D

Panther, I too have a 2014 TG. I had the water pump go out, but that's the only issue I've had.

Put Rinehart slip-ons, Cobra True duals exhaust, S&S 585 cams and replaced the compensator with a better one. Easily hauls my 220 lbs and out runs most two wheelers and all Tri-Glides I've encountered. Some of us just like to go fast

Bottom line, no matter what you have, change the fluids as required and do your required services and you should be riding without any concerns.
