I have not been riding my Tri-Glide very much, because...

Just finished up two long HOG rides....Southern Exposure and the Lewis & Clark Return Home. Between the two rides, we put on just over 10,000 miles and crossed the country twice, plus some. Great time and great rides. The Southern Exposure ride was 14 days total, got to stay home for 9 days and then left for the L&C ride, which was 15 days total. Would love to look at an 2018 or even a 2017, but for now my 2013 is running well, so it'll have to wait.

Do It, The M8 is Indestructable

I have 12,600 miles since last LaborDay

6k with the Power Vision and 1 wheelie by Kevin

Thanks Kevin and Devin :clapping:

I haven't ridden in almost three weeks thanks to work travel, daily rain, and triple digit heat. As if that's not enough, my 87 year old father was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer (he quit smoking over 40 years ago), so most weekends are spent with him.

Not been riding the TG very much recently.

1. It's been pretty warm in our parts and the 2 wheel transpo gets more air on me.

2. The biggest reason is I may be getting an M8 soon (we'll see what the 2018 releases bring), so I am keeping my miles down for a better trade-in valuation.

:)

Oh my gosh! This is like waiting for the Superbowl game. I don't think I will be the only one impatiently waiting to see what you end up doing with your M8 choice and mods.

This is a big deal! I'm betting thread views will set records this year.

Sorry to hear about your father Doug. He has been a very well-respected college academician/administrator in our community. Hopefully you have given him a ride on your Tri Glide.

Thanks Bob, but unfortunately he had his stroke before I ever bought the TG, and was unable to climb on and hang on well enough. Too bad, as he used to ride as well. I learned to ride on his Suzuki T500 and Triumph Trident.

Prayers Doug.

I haven't been on the trike much this year. Having some medical issues and the doc said no riding for the next 30 days. I sure hope I can get back on the trike soon. I am doing some better but not there yet. Jim

I've been able to put about 4,300 miles on my Freewheeler since May. Just got back from 2 weeks + in Colorado but trailered the trike so I could be comfortable in the truck camper. My buddies ride BMW's so I met them in Crawford State Park in Co the day the national Salt Lake City Rally ended, and then the following weekend did Top of the Rockies rally in Paonia CO, then stayed 4 days in Gunnison. Great escape from the high 90's here in Texas. I don't do many hours per day going and coming home anymore. Yesterday was 6.5 hrs from Amarillo, plenty. Ate at the Big Texan steakhouse and helped the boys sing Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain after a couple of margaritas.
