First, the trip to Dave and Carol's home was a little stressful. I had a very hard time finding a trailer that my truck would pull and the TG would fit in. I finally found a 6x12 v nose cheap trailer that sets too high off the road and is too tall for my truck. The ramp was straight up and inside. My 09 Chevy Silverado 5.3, Ext, short bed with a hard tonneau cover, only got 11 mpg's to the gallon. That trailer would pull the truck over to the left and felt like a parachute behind me.

Do not in any way trust that darn lady in the Garmin. She does not know the way to Dave's house. LOL, there was a easier way and even I got lost using it!

When I arrived to Dave and Carol's home, my mouth dropped. There home is just stunning but very windy. I kept waiting to hear a large crack when one of the oak trees broke a limb.

Now to the "Carriage House". How lucky is Dave to have an oriental rug for part of his work space.... Yes, I stayed in the "luxury suite" above the garage. I could live there and be very content. The apartment was beautiful and Carol was so thoughtful to have the frig stocked with anything you would need, flowers and snacks left out.

Dave pulled out the TG and started to work immediately. I had a great time just setting back in a chair, drinking his "root beer" and watching. We chatted all day and that was so much fun. Then his BFF came by and brought new toys to play with. Strangest gun I have ever seen!! Dave and Carol took me to diner, I got to meet their wonderful two dogs who are amazing animals.

Dave had been working on the tune for a week, and then we were off riding. I was riding "Tubby" who made my mouth drop. Now, that was at 9am when it was still below 50 degrees, but beautiful outside. Dave's TG is the smoothing, easiest to ride. The shifting is light and easy due to the CW but to see the rpm's to stay up thru each shift was amazing. Mine would drop like a rock between each shifts. Dave did his tuning, then I rode mine for a while thru beautiful Georgia country side. Wow, they live in the most amazing community. I think I could move there easily and enjoy all there is to do and make new friends. The trike runs fantastic, more power, more throttle response, the clutch is so easy now on my hand. The pipes are a set of stock cans with Fullsac baffles of 1.75". They are quiet and have a tend to be a little raspy. We'll see how they burn more to see if the sound changes. Dave has Monster Ovals and for all of you thinking of pipes, they are some what loud when he starts the bike but not over loud, they are not loud at cruising speed. I didn't wear my earplugs just for that reason to hear it and its very comfortable to ride with the MO's. Dave adjusted the tune as we went along then off to the carriage house. There he went into the tune to adjust alot of things. Dave seemed very pleased with his finished product.

Oh, if you have several air gauges, try them. I got a wagging finger at me for not having enough air in the front tire, then he checked the backs. Well, I'm a little "A (minus)" type person myself. So, I wipped out my air gauge, it showed what was in the tires, who's gauge is right? I will replace mine just to see if there is a difference.

I'm so amazed at what he did to completely change my trike. The Fullsac head pipe, the TTS2 tuner, (they did not send a Arlen Ness Breather), S&S breather, and the HD cans with FS baffles of 1.75" are all great products and after riding in 50 degree weather, I was saying "darn I'm freezing where is the heat"!! I couldn't get my hands warm at all reaching down around the heads.

Finally, my trike runs great, and will get a work out today as soon as it comes out of the trailer. Second, Dave and Carol are the most gracious host I have ever met. They see that your are welcomed into their home and you want for nothing. Thank you so much you two, I would love to come back and ride the North Georgia mountains with all ya'll and your friends. What a great time that will be.

I learned alot, met some fabulous people, had "this guy" go above and beyond to work on my TG, and was made to feel very special, until Dave said, "You get treated like all the rest".....

Hey Dave, my new redneck friend who loaded/unloaded the trike said, "man I love that clutch".... She rolled out perfectly, but the 11mpg on the truck was shameful.

When you come back from your ride today chime in and let us know how the trike did. My guess is you won't be seeing anymore "blue" horn.

C and I went out today for a few hundred. The tune on Tubby gave me 34.7 MPG in this cool air. Was real happy with that.

The Wiz is a class act, one of the finest I've had the pleasure to meet. Your mileage pulling the trailer is about as expected, I get 10 - 11 pulling a 7x12 Haulmark V nose low hauler with my Toyota Tundra which has the 4.6l V8.

I'm sure your going to be enjoying your Triglide much more now that it has had Wiz work his magic on it.

The trailer I used was Carry On Cargo Trailers. It set really high off the ground which made it very tall, so pulling it was like a parachute behind me. Also it wanted to pull my truck to the left all the time. Next time I go to Georgia, I'll be riding not trailering....I hope...
