Try the buckhorn handlebars before you change 'em out.....I would die for a pair for the Tri-Glide!
I've tried buckhorns before. I had them on my Sportster trike for quite a while. They just have my wrists at a bad angle for me. I guess I lied about one thing. I have decided to go to S and S 510 gear drive cams and do away with the chain tensioners.
I know that. I built and rode a Sportster trike over a period of ten years and am quite familiar with what goes into them. I was talking about saying in my original post that the only thing I was going to change on this Softail trike was the Buckhorn handle bars and now I have decided that I will change it over to gear drive cams.
How "soft" is soft? I mean if it pulls close from a stop to what it does with the stock setup and better when I'm on the road then I would be fine with that.
