i took a deuce rear wheel and fit it to the front end of my ride! holy $h!t!!! i really dig the look! a 160 on the front!

i understand it's obnoxious and is either a love it or hate it type thing. i really dig it. you like??? :D

Haven't really been a fan of the HD disc wheel, but... Man! On that trike it just looks right! Chalk another one in the "Me Likee" column.

thanks for the compliments! the ride is much more stable than the skinny 21" wheel i had before. i think the fat wheel looks better. i went with this particular wheel for 2 reasons. 1) it's a 17" and wouldn't be dwarfed by the massive meats and 2) it's the fattest tire i could throw on without major modification.

Grimm, I think it looks fantastic. I was actualy wanting a larger front on mine. Did you use a rear wheel or just a rear tire on a new front wheel. Didn't know they could be swapped. I really like it. Let me know what was involved. Did the front brakes just bolt right up to the rear wheel etc. Thanks in advance, I've always liked your bike and then it gets even better!

it was a straight swap. i took the entire rear wheel and tire off a 2000 deuce, flipped it around so the disk was on the right side, spaced the caliper over so it would line up and had some spacers cut to center the wheel.

i appreciate the compliments, guys!

Planning on putting a fender on I hope? you are gona get soaked if it ever rains while you a re out and about.

fenders??? we don't need no steenkin fenders!

i have been running without a front fender since before my accident. it's not a big deal as long as you're prepared. i took a 2500 mile road trip last summer. rained on us two straight days. i had on my frogg toggs and full face and i was cool. i admit though, it made the bike look like total @$$.
