I like to use my earbuds when riding on the freeway but on my 14 Trike Harley decided we did not need a headphone jack any more. You can not find blu tooth ear buds that will pair with the new radio. I finally found a small adapter that plugs into the intercom plug and gives you a headphone jack. I got one for me and one for my passenger. We both can control volume individually. This way if you have a favorite pair ear buds you can use them again. I will post the link below.

I think SENA Technologies had something similar but with a cable..

I did see those but I chose these because there are no cables. When using the earbuds on a trip and stopping I can unplug the earbuds and leave the adapter plugged in and it is not noticeable. If I had the one with the cables they would be noticeable and I didn't like the ideas of the cables rubbing on the tank.

Just my two cents.

About the Blue Tooth, before Harley made a blue tooth radio I bought a "Clear Sound" Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter (About 35 bucks) There are several brands out there, but the Clear Sound unit can be charging when in use, the cheaper ones won't. With that I can use any Bluetooth ear buds or headphones I want. I bought the adapter from Cena. Anyone with Bluetooth headphones can 'sync' to your transmitter and listen to your 'toons' as long as they are pretty close.
