how to load a trike in the back of a pickup

I guess.....but I left North Central TN just over two weeks ago - Snowing.....Bike in trailer to War Horse HD in Ocala {Great dealer with parking for the truck and trailer} 10 days of both coasts and Everglades. So not having the trailer for that Adventure would have meant no adventure, I ride in Cold....not Snow and Ice. I have a few friends that try to give me hell about my trailers....But they spend more time waiting on weather where I can trailer to it!

JC, That's what I would like to do too. My wife and I have been to the Sturgis Rally every year since 1999. The first 4 or 5 years we trailered our bike thinking we could never make the trip. The sixth year, we didn't plan on going since the gas prices were so high. My wife came up with a plan, that if we ride the bike out we could save some money on the gas. So every year since then we ride our bike out. Needless to say, it's more fun going out than it is coming home. Heh, nothing wrong with trailering. Stay safe. Jerry

Too Funny - All of my Sturgis runs came when I lived north of Chicago. I had to make three turns inside of 15 minutes to get on 94 west...950 miles of boring Hwy with a 100% chance of rain. We ended up trailering in 2013 and 2015....worked out great. Got there faster...never had to get the rain gear on.....and a few nights in town for either rain or Adult Beverage night....it was nice to have the truck. Last time there we ended up putting damn near 1700 miles on the bike.....all nice riding....

we trailer our trike too but we use an enclosed trailer and when we unload the bike we blow up the air mattress which is about 15 inches thick and sleep in the trailer and yes I have installed air conditioning and a cooler. so it works out for us and also it only takes a few minutes to break camp and go haul in fellow biker if broke down.
