How to haul bicycles behind a Trike

We have a California Side Car Honda Goldwing Trike. Was wondering if anyone has ever tried to haul two bicycles on the tirke using the hitch mount.

That's a very interesting question as I also enjoy riding bicycles. I am familiar with carrying bikes on a rack behind a vehicle but not with my trike. Considering the weight of the carrier plus the weight of the bicycles I find it hard to believe that hauling them on your trike with a hitch mount carrier would be an option for many reasons with safety being a high priority. I would suggest going to a bicycle shop for their thoughts and/or search for a light weight trailer that you could attach the bikes on. The trailer, like an Aluma MCTXL, would be my first choice. Good luck with your endeavor, maybe somebody on this forum will have a better idea. Don't give up as I'm sure it's doable and a pretty cool idea, so keep us informed please.

Try Harbor Freight. They have a light duty trailer that would easily carry the weight of 2 bikes and would be easy to pull behind your wing trike. :wave4:

Never hauled bikes on our Trike so i can't be of any help there.

I agree with getting a trailer to haul the bikes on.
