Good morning

Am sitting here waiting to go the hospital to have my left hip replaced. kinda nervous.

I would like to tell you a story about a encounter with a jackass, no not the four legged kind.

I went to wing ding in Billings Mt in late August. Motor trike was at the rally so I walk up to

Dick Vey introduce myself as such and such and tell him I am the owner of Stallion 146. He says nice

and walks off. ok I think rally pressure and hobble off. I came back later and tried to engage him in

conversation. I ask if it is possible to get a set of new fork tubes for my stallion, he says that the fork

tubes are available, I say I have been trying for the last 2 years to get a set of fork tubes and am being told

we don't have the materials to build them from Richard. Dick at this point says that they need to be installed

by a authorized dealer, and at this point my hackles came up and I said the same authorized dealers that have

already installed 3 sets of hubs and bearings and a set of fork tubes. and by the way do you even have a authorized

dealer in Wash, Mt, Oregon or even in the northwest. He threw up his arms at this point and just said to tell Richard

that it ok to order new tubes. I was ready to smack this Jackass up the side of his head with my cane. I have posted some

of my problems with TBMS in previous posts.

My beast at this point is up for sale and it is not because I don't like the ride or being stopped everywhere asking about my ride.

I am tired of dealing with the rudeness of TBMS:mad:

Thank You for letting me rant

I would not sell it because of that. Concentrate on your surgery, and deal with it after you heal. You will see it in a different and better way. Good luck and heal fast.

Having had a small business of my own... [30 years] There are two sides to customer relations...Just saying, And i'll leave it at that...:cxtv:

Jeff Vey is normally a great guy. I can only say you must have caught him on a bad day. I'm sure he is really frustrated with the Stallion venture. He never was able to get it going to a point where he made much if any money. The total sold were just over 800 units. Now they decided that parts have to be ordered through the Motor Trike Dealer network. I'm sure there is a reason. You did not get any better price ordering direct anyway. The dealer will just have the part shipped direct to you. I order my parts from a dealer in Jasper Georgia by phone.

Couple of days they get delivered.

Good luck on your procedure and heal quick.

You can tackle the forks afterwards.

Good morning

Had my joint replaced, in at 6am out at 3pm. no fuss no mess. was walking without walker or crutches by 8pm.

Back to story. I have posted earlier that I have gotten used parts, wrong parts sent, Richard saying he has part

and that I have to call in and pay for part, only to find money collectors don't list part numbers and are not in the

system so I have to get back to Richard and cannot for a couple days talk to him (too busy). so they finally get things

straighten out, it is a week already. takes 2 weeks to get parts. all in all it takes 3+ weeks to get a simple part. how much

time is going to be wasted now trying to get parts from authorized dealer. who have no idea what they are asking for.

Wasted time, and a bunch of money spent on shipping. then when you ask questions about things failing you get

we have never heard of this happening.

Ranting again

Hi Dragon,

Glad to hear you are doing ok now. I am also one who am tired at trying to keep the stallion running. I am not planning on getting rid of it because I do love it, But I have decided to keep it for very short rides and shows. It is in the shop now for the third radiator. I went out and bought a slingshot and am now having fun with it. But--- less then 500 on it and now have 3 recalls. I hope that isn't an omen. LOL.

Anyway glad you are up and about talk to you later. Terry.
