Just got in a little bit ago from a ride. Everything went great, old girl (trike not wife), was purring great. Our roads around here aren't the greatest to start with in Northeast Louisiana. Was running down Interstate 20 at about 80 mph, when I hit it. Understand she's an older heavy rig, with air shock at about 80 psi and a air seat, along with independent outrigger suspension. Literally left the seat and got thrown sideways, the truck behind me slammed on his brakes, he thought it was gone. I did to for a few seconds, if it had been a 2 wheeler we would have been slammed to the pavement. Thank goodness, its got a trike kit on it. She brought me on home safe and sound once agin. Be careful out there.

This is a good reason to wear depends when you're out riding.. I would have pooped my pants for sure!

Did you notice a scorers table off to the right of the bump? I bet you score a perfect 10!

So glad you are OK!!! The trike too!!! Mike hit a hole like that on two wheels a few years ago...... not a pretty picture. Fortunately, everything was mendable both on him and the Harley, but he was sure moving slowly for some days.

I don't even do 80 in my 4 wheeler...did 95 on Snarley once or twice just to hear it, but I am Mr. Speedlimit when on the bike.

To be perfectly honest. That one actually scared me. Not gonna give my baby (the trike) up. May be a little more careful though.

That's one downside of trikes, hard to miss holes, etc. unless you can steer around them but almost impossible at high speeds, especially in traffic. I'd rather steer to have my front wheel miss and have one of the rear wheels hit. You have better control and the rear is stronger and can take more abuse.
