HJC CL-15 helmet question

Just got an HJC CL-15 helmet, via the internet. The front bottom area, in front of the jaw has an open space, and there is some Velcro to attach something. There are no pics that I can find anywhere to determine if something is missing, or if an accessory goes there. The owners manual for the helmet makes no mention of anything for that area. The picture below shows the area, the helmet is upside down, couldn't do a photo of it up right by myself.

Anyone know what goes there?

If it's like most full coverage helmets, and it looks like a full coverage helmet, that's probably where some padding goes.

Possibly cut out so you can insert the mouthpiece of a intercom set...:wave4:Also on some helmets they had a deflector that you would insert when riding in cold weather & that way you would'nt fog up the shield

I have those helmets.
It where you can put a breath deflector.
I don't use one so I put the speakers for our intercom's in that space.

What I was trying to figure out is if the breath deflector, or something else that goes there is extra, or included with the helmet. Nothing for that spot came with the helmet. Just wanting to know if I was shorted, or not.

I'm about ready to call the credit card company, and ship it back for a forced refund. I've left messages and emails with no response. :Computer:

Helmet's on close out, no dealer has it. Nothing but stock photos on Google, which don't show it. HJC site is no help.

It looks like it's for a breath box, and breath curtain which are extra. So I was probably not shorted.

The bigger problem now is that I've got my anal orifice puckered because the place I bought it from is ignoring me. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh that bugs me. :gah:

If you lived up north or can get a snowmobile catalog, you might be able to find a breath piece.

I've got a HJC Symax helmet....but it's a flip up. I'm guessing that's a full face. Anyway, an "under the chin "curtain" was available as an option... also some mics (for intercom, etc.) can fit under there with velcro. If it's new, I'd guess it is to attach a curtain. Chumbly-

HJC answered an email and said it was for the optional breath box, and that nothing comes with it from the factory. That's settled.
