I personally am believe that the framers of the Constitution were convinced that the hunters of the day needed legal protection for their hunting rights and the 2nd Amendment came about as a result. It had nothing to do with the average citizen taking up arms against a tyrannical British king... or a potential tyrannical king rising up on our own shores. God bless America!
