Selena and I rode the "Tricycle" up to Canyon Lake on Tuesday, just got back today. Actually, we rode up to Fredericksburg on Tuesday, for lunch and brews at Fredericksburg Brewery. Once done there, we wandered around a bit, then rode down to Canyon Lake. The evening was spent relaxing at the pool and chilling.

Wednesday found us back up to Fredericksburg to ride Willow City Loop, which was AWESOME! A stop at Wildseed Farm, and then down to Luckenbach for live music and cold beverages. From there we headed to Dot's Burgers and Brewz, on the corner of 306 and 281, where we chowed hard. Oh so good. The afternoon was spent watching old Andy Griffith reruns, then chilling down by the pool.

Up this morning, we headed to Luling to visit Luling Icehouse Pottery then lunch at Luling BBQ. We're really pleased with the Champion conversion, as we were able to haul bunches of stuff, and we never worried about making u-turns, tight turns in town, and pulling in and out of parking.

I am going to end up installing raked triple trees, as it takes a bit to horse it through the turns. My bum shoulder would be happy with that. Looking forward to our next 3-wheel adventure. Shame we're getting into the heat of "Summer."

All the best!

Hey KWSchin - don't forget about our October gathering at Kerrville..!! :pepper:

Don't see your name on the list but might have missed it. Anyhoo, here's the link to it below. Right now there's quite a number of folks who've signed up.

Clint is the head man for questions about it.

Hope to see ya'll there!

Man, that sounds like fun. Back in the late '90's I went to an astronomy event at a camp in Rio Frio, near Leakey, and it's beautiful country up there. I remember lots of pygmy goats, and the blue bells were in full bloom.

One day I will make it back over there on the trike. That area would make for some great riding.

Fredricksburg

After spending the winter months in Tucson, we made a slight detour back to our home in Colorado to visit our son in Austin. We spent a great afternoon eating lunch in Fredricksburg. It was hard to leave the motorcycle in the trailer but time didn't permit a ride. This area is outstanding. Hope to return some day and ride.

Well, at least you were able to enjoy a bit of the Hill Country. Sure hope you make it back to enjoy wind in your face.

All the best!
