Welcome to the forum, crashfirechief. I spent many years on crash trucks and retired a captain from Hill AFB Fire Dept in Utah. Also a retired SMSgt from the USAF.
Hello Rick and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. I also worked on crash fire trucks, but that was back in the late 70s. That was when they still had theold 2 engine,4 axil, gas driven trucks. I think they were P-4 model but not sure. I know we were really excited when the diesel trucks finally got there, then they shut down the base. This was K.I.Sawyer A.F.B. near Marquette Mi.
