hi there!

hey nana tks for helping me get going again. about me....well i started riding when i was 12. rode a cushman eagle thru high school. later after the navy/vietnam and college i rode a harley sportster. which i carried around in a box in the back of my car while i was learning to survive in the oil fields. years passed when i couldnt afford a bike and finally in 06 i got ahead and i bought a brand spanking new harley wide glide. rode it for 2 years and bought a new harley ultra classic. rode it for 2 years. i dearly loved both bikes.

in october my wife said she was to old to keep getting on and off the harley ever time we stopped. so, i sold my ultra classic and bought a 2010 honda gold wing gl1800 w/csc conversion. i swear the first 2 weeks i owned it i would have taken it back if it hadnt been so far to the dealer. however, the more i rode it, the more i loved it. now i wouldnt take anything for it.....well at least for 2 years. hahahah. no seriously, i plan on retiring in may so i will ride the trike into the sunset. well thats the short story of my life. i am happy to be a new member of trike talk and look forward to meeting you guys and gals on the rode....nbl:)

Since you are retiring in May, you might as well go to Maggie Valley in June. (See TOI) Oh, and welcome to the forum. Looks like you are sorta our neighbor--we're from TX.
