First post to activate membership. Finally sold my '96 Heritage after it was sitting in the garage for a few years. Balance issues and major accident on a rental make me unable to ride confidently any more. Took a while to accept my fate. Pretty much as soon as bike was gone, suddenly I realized hey maybe I can ride again, lemme check out those Harley trikes. So hi.

Now I just need to find a good (including reasonably priced) Tri Glide rental location in New Jersey to check them out.

Welcome... Reasonably priced is a relative term .....
My dealer Baer in Honesdale PA told me when i wasn't sure about a Tri-Glide rent one for a week and if i bought a new one from them , The'll wave the rental fee....That was back in 2011.. I didn't rent one i just took a demo out for a short ride, That was enough for me, Bought one on the spot..

welcome aboard. careful you might find yourself smiling as you ride that rental TRI.

New trike rider in New Jersey

I'm looking forward to all the great info! Bought a 2016 Freewheeler last week. On two wheels, I hardly rode. I had my trike on 287 North the day after I bought it. Looking forward to a fun summer with my girls riding! Safe travels everyone!

Wow, 287... If you keep it under 75/80 you'll get run over...I remember before that highway was built [And RT80 also].. Both Saved me a lot of time driving into Manhattan every day... Have fun and ride safe...ThumbUp

Hello MarkS and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. It's too bad that you didn't think of the trike before selling your bike, you could have saved some money. My wife refused riding on two wheels, but on three wheels she is so comfortable that she has fallen asleep!!Ride safe, stop in often.
