My name is Herb Hyde and I got my first trike last August.
My buddy,Bob, and I bought a pair of GL1800/ABS from EastCoast Cycles in
Philly(Saved $3000 each over local dealer) and took them to the California
SideCar factory in Virginia for conversion.
Three weeks later we picked up the finished product.
This was only the second time on a trike, I tried out a DFT at Americade in June of 07. I got to ride Solo and get used to the extra wheel for about 100 miles. My wife joined me after returning the rental car and we rode home to Gasport, NY.
I have had bikes since 1967 and bought my first Goldwing, New in 1985.
Sold it last week.
I really like my new ride.

Hi from CONN. I don't know were you are in NY. We are in the NW corner of CONN. We border NY and MASS. Gona love that trike more and more every mile you drive. If you have not already experience the longer than normal stops you will.

Hi Herb and welcome to the "Tricycle Club" I too have had bikes most of my life, but I really love the trikes. Great bunch of people on here and I'm sure you'll make new friends. If you get a chance ,post us a couple of pictures of your ride. Nice to meet you.
