I bought my 2015 Roadmaster in July '15, converted to trike with a Champion kit in August '16 by L&M in Glenwood, MN. Man what a trip to ride! When I left their garage I needed to swerve left to miss their pickup so naturally I pushed on the left grip. Oops. Didn't hit the pickup but went straight for it. Luckily braking is the same! My first lesson in trike steering.
Rode the 2 hours home on back roads not about to try anything like high speeds, it seemed kind of twitchy but ok. That Sunday I went to a parking lot and rode circles and figure eights (thanks, I learned that here) and it really helped get a feel for turning. Only had time to ride maybe 300 miles (dang job) but it has felt better every time.
