I bought my 2015 Roadmaster in July '15, converted to trike with a Champion kit in August '16 by L&M in Glenwood, MN. Man what a trip to ride! When I left their garage I needed to swerve left to miss their pickup so naturally I pushed on the left grip. Oops. Didn't hit the pickup but went straight for it. Luckily braking is the same! My first lesson in trike steering.

Rode the 2 hours home on back roads not about to try anything like high speeds, it seemed kind of twitchy but ok. That Sunday I went to a parking lot and rode circles and figure eights (thanks, I learned that here) and it really helped get a feel for turning. Only had time to ride maybe 300 miles (dang job) but it has felt better every time.

I enjoy this site and appreciate the civility. Took me awhile to figure out how to attach a pic, hey, I'm 60, but learned how to resize and thus, here it is:

Welcome! That's a Great looking Indian ThumbUp If that doesn't draw a crowd when you stop somewhere I don't know what will...beautiful enjoy the new ride, be safe!

That's a great looking trike. Welcome to Trike Talk. My wife and I camp at Country Campground just south of Detroit Lakes a couple times a summer and then go cruising on the trike all around the lakes country. Would be great to meet sometime over there.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm hoping next summer with be a lighter construction season and more time to ride. I have visions of these will week vacations we'll take, someday.

After I ordered the trike kit I began to notice how many trikes are out there. It's a lot! Ron

great looking trike...i saw it when lonnie and mike were putting it together....great guys down there they built mine too this spring.....the trike will start feeling more natural as you put on the miles....just got back from running ours through beartooth pass and yellowstone.....the three tires made the trip a pleasure....

they put in long hours.....i find that they are very helpful for me (a new triker)....they are always willing to explain the workings of the trike to me, a non mechanical type.....they always make me feel like they have time for whatever i need ....

I'm envious of your Beartooth trip. It's on our list! Tonight coming home I accidently corrected my steering correctly without thinking :D. Getting better!
