WELCOME to TRIKE TALK....glad to have You aboard. Trikes tend to have a slight "headshake" over bumps, railroad tracks, curbs, etc. .....different amounts between different Trikes. Some Folks here seem to have good luck on some models with dampeners.....:wtg:

Hello armytriker! Welcome to TrikeTalk! and thank you for your service :).
skuuter is correct about the tendency to feel all the bumps in the front end at very slow speeds. You don't mention if your trike is raked, but in addition to the damper, you might find that helpful also. The rake certainly does help with the steering! It will take you from having to use a lot of arm/shoulder strength to feeling like power steering!

Welcome Craig, a couple of things you may check for the wobble. Make sure your front wheel is balanced and also check that the steering nut is tight. Hoping you enjoy your time on three wheels.

Keep the rear tire pressure in the 22LB area. Hard rear tires will make it bounce . Don't forget you have 3 bumps per not 0ne like with the 2 wheeler You went over the same bump like a rocking horse. Welcome aboard. AS always put up a few pictures

Welcome aboard Army Triker. If the steering head nut has not been tightened down further than when it was a 2 wheeler than you might want to give that a try for a place to start.

Wow that is some rig. I bet i could do that with my 500 Shadow for Honey. What is used to do it? Like What kit or what parts? Don't for get to untie it first .

With that small of tires and that little weight you might want to go down to 12 to 14 lbs. Thats what I run on my Valkyrie and it has taken out most all the woble over bumps. I tryed 22 lbs at first and it snaped the bars out of my hands. Just kept droping air till it felt good.

thanks for all the comments all. i will find out all the work that was done on her for you. it has a robin reliant axle. if your wondering what a robin is it was a 3 wheel car that was big in the 80s. just chopped it down and used that. gunna drop air pressure in tires, see if that solves out.
thanks every 1

Welcome Triker: Nice looking set-up, and welcome to the site also want to Thank you for your service. What part of the U.K. you from> When I put a lock on my front disc, I also put a top of a red paintspray can over my ignition to remind me to remove lock. Been doing that for years, now they have different gadgets to do that.

Well, I am new here and am reading up on all the different trike conversion styles. I took some good info and test rode what I could. I like the tight feel of the champion non IRS and I like the price. Looking around on forums tho I cannot locate much info on the satisfaction of those who already own the Champion. I like the storage of some others but not the ride. I have a headache trying to make up my mind. If I came in the wrong area apologies I am brand new to this....

chacha, I have a Champion non irs and love it. I got about 15k miles on it. Also Nana one of the administrators also has one. I'm sure she will be posting her opinion shortly.

Handles really well and is straight forward design and should be very reliable.
