A friend hit me with this puzzle, But didn't give me the answer....

You saw a shirt for 97 dollars, You don't have the cash so you borrowed 50 dollars from your Mom and 50 dollars from your Dad, That equal's one hundred dollars, You buy the shirt and have three dollars change, You give your Dad back one dollar, And you give your Mom back one dollar, And you keep the other dollar for yourself,, Now you owe your Mom 49 dollars and your Dad 49 dollars That equals 98 dollars, Plus your one dollar,That equals 99 dollars.....
The question is where is the missing 1$........;)

You owe them each 49, so you add that and get 98. You would add the 2 you already gave them(1 each), Equals $100.00 You would not add the dollar back in that you took, because that was part of the original loan.
