Hello!
Unfortunately my father passed away and I will be selling his 2013 Victory Cross Country (bought brand new for $22k) with a Motor Trike conversion kit (installed 2018 for $15k).
It has 106k miles on it.
Located in southeast Michigan.
Any help on what I should list it for?
Thanks!
Mel

Very sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a father.

What I have found with conversion kit trikes is that you need to find the value of the bike pre conversion and then add about $10,000 to that price. That will at least get you close. One of the best places I've found for that is doing a nationwide search on Cycletrader. Add on accessories will usually not help increase the price by much. But when you get ready with a price and are prepared to list it, lots of photos help and a complete list of any options and accessories added.

106k miles Mike..
Nice looking trike but no parts availability on Victory and over 110k miles its anyones guess what it will bring Mel. Do a search on Cycle Trader for "Victory Trike" (sold) and get some comps.

Thanks for pointing that out, I missed that. It is a lot of miles for one of those but does show it's been ridden a lot.
Thanks guys!
Cycle Trader shows nothing to compare. We've searched everywhere for a comp, but with no luck.
We listed it on FB marketplace for $5k and got over 60 replies in an hour, so we pulled it down and searched for more paperwork... That's when I found receipts in a file box. But we realize that Victory parts will be tough to come by as you mentioned.
And the mileage too...

IMHO, $5K is way too low unless you were looking to just unload it. It is kind of hard to put a value on an aftermarket conversion for a Victory as opposed to something like the HD TriGlide or Freewheeler. Based on what I'm seeing, $5000 would be top dollar if it was still a bike. Since it's been triked, I think a fair ballpark figure might be around maybe $11-12,500 in my opinion. You can try going a little higher if you want. Just remember, you can always drop the price but you can't go higher. I'm sure you were hoping for more but like @Papa Zook mentions, parts are going to be hard to come by and that does throw a wrench into things.

Sorry for your loss also.

I agree with Mike and Randy.
Lack of available parts and 100K+ miles really makes the Victory part of the trike not very valuable.

But the conversion part of the trike MAY have some normal value because it's Motor trike and MAY have some interchangeable parts with other conversions.
One other thing that I noticed in the pictures and it just maybe the lighting it appears that the conversion parts (Fairing and Rear body) are a slightly different color than the Victory parts.

Like Mike suggested, I also suggest to list it in the 10k to 12k range and be prepared to take a best offer down to what you can live with.

Good Luck in the sale.

Thanks guys - this has been super helpful! I appreciate your feedback and it gives me a better ballpark now on how to list it.
Thanks again!
