Hello from the Caribbean!

Accidentally found the forums while searching info on Big Daddy Roth-style trikes; it's GREAT! I'm currently located in Caguas, Puerto Rico, diggin' awesome weather. My Dad and I used to wrench all the time on VWS and a 65 Corvette that I put back on the road in the 80's, then I married, divorced, remarried, divorced again; I'm back to playing with cars and bikes again. I've had a 400 Four Honda, a 750 Automatic Honda (Yawn...),a Z1 Kaw,two Triumph 650's, a Harley Lowrider, never a trike, but a leftover VW trans, some Harley bits, and a 1600 DP with serpentine belt, has resparked the flame for a fiberglass body trike. Hope to begin a buildup late in the year!! Wow, that was quite a yarn...

I need a vacation....can I come hang out with you? We can brainstorm you up a cool trike design, then maybe go fishing, hang at the beach, etc, etc. Glad to help any way I can...

welcome to Trike Talk. what do you mean great weather? I was staying in Ponce on business there last week and it was on/off rain on me with high humidity. I was working in Santa Isabel. I may be back down there later this year or next. save me some nice weather.

Thanks,Nana...I forsee a whole lotta' metalflake in my future...Zook,I'll be a "guide" anytime-will sink a couple Medallas (local beer) and check the surf at Isabella at the Northwest of the Island, rustic but incredibly beautiful, then back to San Juan and lose some coins in the Casinos! I'm a certified "Super Host" by the local Tourism Board-honest! Bikebozo, u may be right, my Sis is in Ponce right now, tells me there's been incessant showers-bummer. I'm in Caguas in the center of the Island, had a 10 min. shower at mid afternoon-I'ts the tropics, after all...summer is around the corner and I assure you 105 degree days on end,my friend!!!

Thanks for the warm reception,I'm pretty sure I'll bore you guys to death once the project begins with the incessant questions. Seems like Bikebozo tied some stormclouds, been several days of on again off again showers...j/k! I assure you very hot weather is around the corner, even Shrimps will unfreeze!!!(pun intended). Goriila, quite an AWESOME machine that on your avatar, as far as I know there's none on the island, although it's been a while since I go to a show, much less a run. Down here trikes of any kind are rare, but I've seen several so I know they are around!!
