How's abody, 6yr monoped here now riding a 2003 Sturgis R18 GL1800 Gold Wing (After 44yrs on a normal bike).
Looking for anyone else that has one and has removed the R18 plastics to get the Goldwing original fairing off. Got some electrical gremlins to sort out for its MoT test.

Welcome aboard Alex to Triketalk. This is a great forum and you will find plenty of useful info here. Unfortunately the Sturgis R18 doesn't seem to be a real popular conversion here in the US. What I would suggest though is to maybe reach out to the manufacturer and they may be able to give you some tips and clues also.

Morning pwhoever,

Aye they are made in Netherlands now I think, I have sent the guy a couple of messages but he's never replied, hoping somebody from the stateside mother company might be on here or someone that has worked on them before.

I have had similar experiences sometimes trying to contact California Sidecar by email before. But a phone call has always worked and could usually get my question(s) answered very quickly. Try calling them direct and see if they have tech support.
