Hello from Northwest Arkansas

I live in West Fork, near Fayetteville home of Bikes Blues and BBQ. I get the bug every year about this time and finally took the plunge Bought a 1994 GW1500 that I'm going to put a kit on. I'm looking at the CSC in Clarksville. I hope to ride down there tomorrow to check out their shop. Been riding for over forty yrs off and on. My first was a Cushman Super Eagle, what memories that invokes. Looking forward to hanging out with the group.

Welcome to the board and to triking craftsman. You are in for one of the most enjoyable stages of your life!

We share some parallels in that my first ride was also a Super Eagle. Moved from that to a Honda 300 Dream and then up through quite a number of bikes, mostly Harleys, landing on a Ultra Classic/CSC trike a couple of years ago.

Keep us posted on the conversion and post pictures! We love pictures!

Every ride is a memory stored . the worse one are now the ones that come back most vivid, not fun then but thinking back they were . Triking is the same way every ride is a great one. Enjoy the CSC is a good choice on the 1500 only wish it was an IND rear . It is not on the 1500 only the 1800

Welcome to TT from SW MO! Haven't missed a BB&BBQ since it was started. Sure has grown in the 10 years since it was started.

Good folks down there in Clarksville, they do good work judging from the people I have talked to. In this area (the Ozarks) I think the solid axle will do you well, as it is hard to find a straight road around here, and the non-independant suspension will be firmer in the twisties. I have ridden other trikes with both, (we have a MotorTrike with the ladder bar suspension) and like the firmer ride of the solid rear end for riding the Pig Trail or Hwy 62 to Eureka. Now if I was in Kansas and had to go 120 miles to ride the curve I would want the cushier ride of the IRS.

Thanks for all the kind words and welcomes. Things have change since my orginal post. I traded the GW for a 2007 Yamaha XV1700 w/ Champion conversion, Road Star Silverado. Got some pics if I can figure out how to post.
