Joined yesterday and just wanted to say hi to everyone. I don't currently have a trike, but I have started to think about one for the future. I currently have a 11 Ultra Limited which I really like. Have been riding since the late 70s. I have to say I have been reading on here for about a month and the people seem to be a much calmer crowd than the other forums I read on. I don't post much , but I do read a lot.

Thanks for the welcomes from everyone.

Thinking about taking a ride to Troup, Texas tomorrow and tour the Motor Trike facility and maybe test ride one of their demo trikes. I really do like their setup and overall look and lines on their conversions." Gladiator " I have a lot of comparing and studying to do between all of them, including the Triglide. Don't want to get in any hurry on this one even if it takes me a year or more.

Hi Ronnie did you get a vw trike or you building it yourself, I am building one now & hope to find others that we can maybe do some riding with after I get it done. I am in Conroe TX we had a Goldwing trike but I could not ride it for a full day I have a bad back & need to be able to put my legs out in front of me. So I am building one to fit me that way we can get back in the saddle, we use to ride alot & hope to do it again.

Howdy for the Concho Valley Ronnie!! Welcome to TT from your fellow Texas members!!! Good idea to do some serious searching well in advance of making the leap to three wheels. I'm sure you've seen the posts about the installer being as important as the conversion kit. We'd love to hear and see more from you so don't be a stranger... :xszpv: :xszpv:

There is a gob of experience here and our members are always willing to share. We hope you also pass on your stories and knowledge. TrikeTalk is by far the best trike focused bulletin board and you’ll find the members and admin folks the friendliest there are.

Welcome from downtown Central Texas! You will get all the info you need on deciding if you want to go trike, my opinion is yes, yes, yes! I rode for 45yrs on 2wheels, then changed to a trike this February and have never looked back.
