Hello all! New to trike not to goldwing

Hi! Not long after I rode the whole east coast on my Kawasaki Vulcan 800 classic trailing my husband's goldwing, I was diagnosed with MS and after a year or two I made the decision to give it up.

Fast forward to this year, hubby surprised me with an 08 goldwing trike (champion kit) in February. It is SOOOOO nice to be back on the bike. Not new to wings, I rode his sometimes and put him on my vulcan! I didn't get many miles on it this year as I didn't get cooling equipment until July. Then rode to Nashville, and Knoxville to WingDing. Not long after return I got rear ended when taking off from a red light. :( I wasn't hurt but my trike kit was. But insurance has already cut a check and dealer ordered new kit today. Also going from straight axle to IRS, I am looking forward to that.

To be honest, I think he got serious about finding me a trike when I threatened to take his 06 goldwing (2 wheels) out for a spin! :D

Looking forward to learning more and meeting new friends!

Thanks all. It is so good to be back in the saddle. I rode as a preteen up until I was 15 when my parents sold their bikes because they no longer rode and did not want me getting my license. All was good until I divorced 24 years later and moved to PA. HA! Met a goldwing rider, rode on the back, and then had to have my own again.
