Heated Seat

I am thinking about having a local upholstery shop make my current seat into a heated seat. I didn't want the expense of buying a new seat so this seems the cheapest route to go ($300.) Any recommendations, suggestions, something cheaper? I own an '11 Roadsmith U C Limited (similar to TG) with heated grips.

We have heated seats on the GW and never use them since I got her Gerbing heated pants and jacket. I haven't heard the I'm cold phrase since the purchase.

I agree. The best gift I ever received was my Tourmaster heated vest. I don't need a heated seat.
