Headsets

I just ordered my 2011 HD TriGlide and was told that it comes with a headset. Does anyone know what part number it is and also what helmets it will fit?

Any help would be appreciated...

The headset that my 2010 came with had velcro backing for speakers. I just stuck them to padded straps on side of my half helmet. Body clamps to side in most 1/2 helmet designs and cable runs from there to trike. I sometimes use the extra headset I got for my wife. That one is like a standard headset that goes around back of head. Since I don't always wear same helmet. There don't seem to be any blue tooths available that will work with Tri-Glide.

I think the stock one you will get will be designed to fit the 3/4 helmet. It will have a boom-mic and the Velcro kit that allows you to stick the speakers into the ear-pockets. Of course....your friendly HD dealer will have additional ones in stock for the passenger, or you can go to a place like J&M Audio and get whatever you need.

Here is what came with my 2010 Tri Glide 77147-98A. Pretty sure these fit on 98 models on up. Go to Harley Davidson web site and it should say which helmets these fit.

suggest you go to h-d talking forum & search headset. some guys have a DIY headset

I just got my 2011 Tri Glide two months ago and it comes with one headset that will fit both 3/4 and full faced helmet. Been having problems with the intercomm interferring with the radio feeds. It may be the vox set too high so I will have to play with it. For now the intercomm is off.
