Is there an easy way to install a on/off switch on the
lowbeams so I can turn them off when I am checking things
on my trike? I assume there's a way to cut power to the relays. I have managed to drain the battery twice now and had to jump start it. Enough is enough.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Guys. What I am looking for is a way to cut power to the headlites either
thru the relays or fuses by just a switch.

Yes I did this with my last trike. But learned the hard way. It was done via a switch (not on a relay or fuse) which seemed to work well. When I was about to ride off one day I could smell plastic burning...you guessed it it was the switch melting. The second time it was done via a relay and fuse no problem at all, but also make sue your switch can take more than 12v.ThumbUp

Its not the voltage that does it it is the current ( amperage ). Using a 5 amp switch in a 15 amp circuit is a sure melt down.........

There are switches that can take the 15 amps. What would be good is to go right to the back of the head light and cut the wire to the low beam about 3 inches from the plug . Run new wires down and back to a relay and a switch to energize it. This way you can kill just the low beam

The only way I jump start mine is i have one of the Jump start boxes . ( i bought it at a local Job Lots for $35.00 ) it has saved me a few times . Don't use a CAR to do it.
