ROAD TRIP (S)

This retired life is getting to me.... all the pressure.

Wife and I and a small herd are heading North to Gold Country. Spend a few days exploring the North and South passes through the Rockies. Hopefully we won't befall he fate of the Donner Party. Anyway, when they head home we are splitting off and heading for Las Vegas!! Next week is BikeFest, 40,000 of your best friends on Harleys. Hell of a party. After that we are riding to our house in Arizona for a week on the Colorado River, and playing with the new boat. Taking he Samsung Tablet, so No WiFi no posting. Got the GoPro mounted to the bars, so there should be lots of pictures in a few weeks.

BEST LAID PLANS OF MICE AND MEN

Everything was ready to go. Wife and I were having dinner when we got a call from #3 Son Jeff's work, they were taking him to Emergency, sever pain in the abdomen. To make a long story short, kidney stones. He is at our house for a couple of days, part 1 of the ride is kaput. Yes Trent, we were riding 49. 'Plan B' IF Jeff feels better we will head to the Arizona House for a couple of days, then off to Las Vegas BikeFest.

I've had kidney stones since 1986. So I know all about them. Just passed one last week. It was as big as a 22slug. Had one removed this year with 6 stones behind the one they took out. Mine are from calcium. My system doesn't break calcium down good. Tell your son to drink alot of water. I'm suppose to drink 2liters a day. I don't drink water in the wintertime.

It's too cold out. Pregnant women say it's worse than child birth. Thats why I keep Vicodin Handy. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your son. Kidney stones are no picnic.
