Hd recall notice

This might be old news, and if it is I apologize. I got an email 5 or 6 days ago from NHTSA about a HD recall for an oil line clamp on about 9 different 2017 models. The FLHTCU is one that is listed, but not the FLHTCUTG. I get emails from NHTSA about all recalls and notices, I am sure many of you do also.

We don't have oil coolers on our 2017 TGU's so the improper installation of oil lines is not an issue for our M8's. As Kevin of DK Custom pointed out, I wish we did have some extra cooling of the oil.
 
Yep, no factory oil coolers on the heaviest HD made in 2017....the one that needs it the most!

Here's a photo of the only oil cooler made for the M8 wetheads....it cools the oil by 30-40 degrees.
