Just seen where HD is offering an electric shifter for the Pan American,would be nice if they offered it for the touring bikes.

You might look at Pingel. They make an electric shifter kit for just about everything out there. They're not inexpensive, but an aftermarket option may still be cheaper than the factory offering. Just a thought...
