They now have the official announcement of the NEW engine on the webpage! They are calling it the Milwaukee Eight. There is a video on their facebook page too. 2017 models are on it too.

Just talked to a friend that is line to get one of the first StreetGlide CVO's shipped to Canada. He was told by V&H they have no exhaust systems for the New Milwaukee 8 motors. Going to be down the road before they get anything into production. Guess HD didn't give the aftermarket people any lead time to get their products in place.

Nice looking mill, and a really radical technological engine change from HD. 4 valves/cylinder is foreign sounding, but at least they kept the optics of the famous 45 degree V twin.
Nice as it likely is, & if I was in the market, I'd still wait until next season to let the real world settle any "bugs" that pop up after a new model is introduced...

I rode down to my local dealer this afternoon and just got back home. One of the features of the new engine is it has a counterbalancer as well as being rubber mounted,not one or the other like the Twin Cams.
