If you don't like Harley, don't buy one. Personally, I love 'em enough to put up with a hot engine. But I don't ride them in shorts and flip-flops.

I took my Heat cover off on the right side of my Triglide (like DK told me) and it keeps my right leg alot cooler so I can ride with shorts to my part time job just 3 miles away (on country roads). Good enough for this old geezer.....:Coffee:

Black plastic piece mounted to the frame just behind the engine. It is designed to keep heat from the rear exhaust pipe off the rider's thigh.
