  1. For the most part I like the H-D GPS unit, but I do have a few issues with it and wanted to see if there is a fix or am I doing something wrong.

    1. Can you switch to a QWERTY keyboard - would make my life easier.

    2. Can "Saved" destinations show distances from current location instead of haveing to find alphabetically? I would like to know the next closest address (from my Saved List) to where I am locally. Garmin did that = listed favorite locations by distance to present location.

    3. Finding a place by longitude and latitude. I have no problem entering the degree, but it won't let me enter the correct numbers (according to a website I use) for the minutes. It's not just one or two locations but all of them. I have no problem entering the info to my Garmin Zumo.

    4.

Can I add 10 or 20 addresses on my computer with a GPS program like BaseCamp/MapSourse or H-D Ride Planner, then copy those to a thumb drive, then connect that to the USB port on the bike and save those addresses to the "Saved File" and then remove the thumb drive - or - do I have to add all the addresses while sitting on the bike running down the battery? Hopefully not when it's raining.

In other words can I add a bunch of addresses to the bike while sitting in comfort in my house or motel room???

Thanks for any assistance. Sure wish Harley went with Garmin.

Gary those are some good questions sorry I can't help but I will be watching this thread. also how do you update the map, while on a bike ride Saturday the only roads that showed up were major highways

Well, this weekend I found a solution to my problems - most of them.
I took my H_D Zumo 660 and the car adapter and stuck it on the gas cap then hooked it up to the powerlet on the fairing. I first stuck it on the windshield, but it was to shaky and I was affraid it would shake loose.
Now I have all the functions of the Zumo - except the audio is not very loud. I could plug in a headphone, but don't want to do that.
I will use it as a back up for the H-D GPS. They are both pretty close route wise although a little different. They both do get you to the "same" destination. :)

It's a pain to have to load 2 GPS units, but for the first trip I'll make an exception and see if what I want to do for future trips can be done with just the H-D unit.
