Harbor Freighty Gear Oil Tool

The ones I have used in the past were all worthless. Work for a bit and just don't work after that.
I purchased one from NAPA and it was just as bad as the cheap ones found at Harbor Freight.

I have owned and used the AMSOIL version for years now. It may not be perfect but for the price I just have no complaints. Sure has made servicing the GL1800 and now trike differentials....:xszpv::xszpv:

The Amsoil pump and gear oil looks doable, did the Google look up, couldn't find a price???

You will need to locate an Amsoil dealer or become a preferred customer which is what I do. I use their products in all my stuff so the membership is worth it. My son lives just a few miles from the Dallas warehouse so I don't have any shipping charges...ThumbUp

I just bought a tool from HF called "oil suction gun" that is like a big syringe that draws oil out of the container then you squirt it back into wherever you want, differential in my case. I haven't used it yet but is very simple.

Thanks, got it. Now go get a handle on how to get this tube into the Road Smith diff and begin the job. Solid Bob had a good idea on a small hole in the deck of the trunk and access it that way. I need to get this thing up on the auto ramps so I can get a view of what needs to be done.
